Total Joint Program
What is a Total Joint Program?
Total joint replacement is a surgical procedure(s) in which parts of an arthritic or damaged joint are removed and replaced with a metal, plastic, or ceramic device called a prosthesis. The prosthesis is designed to replicate the movement of a normal, healthy joint.

When arthritis, an injury, or other condition causes damage to the cartilage that lines the ends of bones, joint pain or disability occurs.

It’s important to get a proper determination of the underlying conditions that could be causing the pain.

Treatment of joint pain should focus not only on the pain but also on the affected activities and functions.
